The Outdooring

In Ghanaian tradition, when a newborn survives the first seven days, it is considered a permanent member of the community; it is brought out to the world for the first time and formally named in the presence of family, friends and loved ones to mark this transition.

That is what The Outdooring is for The Kompound Haus: an official introduction of this new addition to our community. It is an intimate preview of everything TKH has up its sleeves; from the different rooms in the Haus and what they're going to look like in the coming months to what it'll mean to be a Hausmate.
